Hi there
Jen Barger-Fertig was born in Texas but quickly realized that Texas was too hot, so she made her way up to Minnesota. There, she attended the University of Minnesota and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and Design. However, Minnesota was definitely too cold, so after graduation she packed up and moved to Miami, Amsterdam & San Francisco to attend the Miami Ad School. There, she honed her illustration, design and art direction skills and learned to live in more moderate climates.
After spending 13+ years working as a designer and an art director, Jen followed her passion to illustration and now happily works in more moderate climates while drinking strong coffee and definitely not complaining about the weather.
